6 yams
½ c. sugar
½ c. butter
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
Bake and mash yams. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Put in 9x13 pan
Topping:
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
Melt butter, then mix in the rest of the topping. Sprinkle on top of the casserole. Bake 25 minutes at 350.
*I make these for Thanksgiving. They are so fabulous. Bake the yams just like a baked potato (no foil). The skin will peel off easily. You can prepare everything but the topping the night before and keep in the fridge.
